DRU Yoga with Sound Journey - Balerno

Teacher: Claudia Goncalves

Wednesdays:  7:30pm to 9:00pm - Balerno, EH14 7JB - Mixed levels

Costs: £10 / £9 / £8 / £7 (high, medium, low income, benefits) sliding scale according to financial means.

Classes are paid in blocks of 4 weeks. Drop in possible at £10 if space available.


Dru Yoga (1 hour)

Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, working with energy, directed breathing and visualisation. Energy Block Release Sequencies (EBRS) are part of Dru yoga and the core work concentrates in openning, expanding and balancing the energy centres, specially the heart centre.


With its foundations set firmly in ancient yogic tradition, we work for the alignment of mind, body and spirit - improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, energising, deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole being.


Sound Journey (1/2 an hour)


Sound Journey changes the vibration of that which is putting us out of balance into a state of balance and harmony again. Other benefits are deep relaxation, great peace of mind and a beautiful sense of holiness.


Sound also reduces stress. With sound we can alleviate a lot of the stresses that causes imbalances in our body.


In our emotional body, there are places that energy gets stuck, sound can help clear up those emotional stresses or energy blockages, helping us to move forward in life and feel great!


When we are more self conscious, we are masters of our own life, masters of our own health and therefore we feel and are more empowered.


Small class, maximum 9 people. Yoga mats and blankets provided. You may be able to join the class at any point if there is space. Classes are not on during summer holidays.
