The aim of this group is to offer the community a space for learning, practicing and exploring shamanism as a medicine for healing. We will cover the basics of shamanism and shamanic healing with the objective to enrich your day-to-day life.

This group is excellent for those who wish to engage in further training at the Edinburgh Shamanic Centre committing to a year long course.

No previous experience of Shamanism necessary to join this group, just an open heart. All welcome.

Meditation is a proven means of reducing stress and achieving personal growth. Working as a channel, Mark's meditations themes flow according to the energy and needs of individuals present. Visualisation, breath work, relaxation, soul retrieval, power animal work, spirit guides are included in his work.

Classes are paid in blocks of 4 weeks or 8 weeks. Drop in possible at £12 or £10 if space available. Priority given to those who book 4 or 8 weeks.

With the fast pace of life today, staying present can be a real challenge. Stressful work, family commitments, generating income to pay the bills, people's demands, life demands, traffic congestion, etc, can take us out of our centre very easily. However, there is a way you can stay in your centre no matter how intense life gets and that is through practicing yoga and acceptance. Acceptance of what's going on around you and acceptance of what's going on inside of you. A way to achieve this is by practicing yoga which brings us to deep unconditional love to the self and in turn deep unconditional love to others.

Yoga should be done with an open, gentle, and non-critical mind. When we stretch into a yoga position, it can be thought of as accepting and working on our limitations. In this process of self-knowledge and self-mastery, impatience, self-criticism and comparing oneself to others will gradually disappear.

During classes with Claudia, your body will reap the rewards of yoga, but so will your spirit. As you learn to breath and become an observer of your thoughts, stretch, accept and work on your limitations, you can connect with the place of stillness within. You can discover who you truly are and accept all that is, including what may not always go according to your plans. The more you practice yoga, the more you will touch your point of stillness within, your innate happiness and bliss.

Claudia welcome students that have not tried yoga before because they feel intimidated by the intensely gymnastic classes so often found. The emphasis of Claudia's yoga class is on working together in a tranquil, peaceful place to master the self.

At the end of the class you will be gifted with half an hour of sound healing, to complete your alignment, balance and to integrate the benefits of your yoga practice into your body. Sound is healing, sound is empowering, sound is harmony of mind, body and spirit.

Small class, maximum 9 people including the teacher. Yoga mats and blankets provided. You may be able to join the class at any point if there is space.

I would like to share with you the beauty of yoga and sound to support your health and wellbeing.

Yoga has been part of my life for over 33 years, I use it to release stress, become more relaxed, align mind, body, spirit and for my spiritual growth. I finished my training with DRU Yoga Scotland in 2010 and have been a teacher since then.
