Please note that visits to the Shamanic Centre are by appointment only. If you have booked a training, session, or event with us, you will receive the full address before your event.

Both, Claudia and Mark, offer one-to-one sessions in person and online. To book with them, please click on "sessions".

Every Friday, Mark facilitates online shamanic guided meditations that you can join from the confort of your home. Just click on "Events" to book either a live participation or to receive a recording of that week's meditation. The system automatically emails you the link after you book.

You can participate in their year-long training also from the comfort of your home with interactive online teachings. For more information, please click on "courses".

They usually take the month of December off to rest as well as to receive teachings from indigenous teachers and to replinish the self.

The Months of January and February you are invited to join them at the Shamanic Centre in Alto Paraiso de Goias, "Recanto do Beija-flor" "The Hummingbird nook" in the heart of Brazil, where they offer Medicine retreats facilitated by Indigenous people. The retreats also include: Wisdom and Knowledge exchange, Rapeh and Sananga circle, medicinal plant baths, song circles and traditional artcrafts.

Visits to breathtaking waterfalls in the Chapada dos Veadeiros, is a must during your visit. Booking in advance is recommended and you are welcome to stay as long as you'd like, as Alto ParaĆ­so has much to offer. On Menu above, click on "indigenous" and "ceremonies in Brasil" to find out more.

Balerno is situated in the southwest of Edinburgh. It is approximately a 20-minute drive from Edinburgh city centre, 30 minutes by bus from the city centre train station, 10 minutes by taxi from Hermiston Gate train station, 15 minutes by taxi from the airport, 10 minutes by car from the City bypass, and 45 minutes by car from Glasgow city centre.

How to get to Balerno Village for courses or sessions

By bus from Edinburgh
buses 44 or 44A. From the City Centre it takes around 30 minutes in the bus to Balerno. Stop at 3rd bus stop after the roundabout, then it is a 15 minutes walk to us. Full address will be given at time of booking.
By car from Edinburgh
From the city centre in Edinburgh, go in the direction of Lanark Road West, pass Juniper Green and Currie villages. Balerno is the next Village. Full address will be given at the time of booking.
By car from outside Edinburgh
Follow directions to A71. At Hermiston Gate Park and Ride roundabout turn left, at next roundabout pass Herriot What University on your right, keep going straight ahead up the hill pass another roundabout, keep going up the hill until you come to Main Road called Lanark Road West where you turn righ. Pass Currie village and Balerno is the next Village. Full address will be given at the time of booking.
By train
Most trains will take you to the City Centre and from there you take the bus 44 or 44A which takes 30 minutes to get to Balerno. There are some trains that can take you to Curryhill station. Curryhill is a 10 min in the car from us and sometimes depending on our availability we can pick you up there. Most trains also stop at Hermiston Gate Train Station where you can take a taxi to Balerno which will take about 10 minutes. Full address will be given at the time of booking.
